Rick Ross Addresses Date Rape Lyric

Rick Ross has been catching heat for a controversial rap lyric that appears to endorse date rape. He featured in a rap song where he spit:

“Put molly all in her champagne/she aint even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that/she aint even know it."In an interview on New Orleans radio station Q93.3, Rick says his lyric was misunderstood:

"I wanted to come down to the radio station. There is certain things you can’t tweet, you have to verbalize. I want to make sure this is clear, that woman is the most precious gift known to man, you understand? It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn’t used. I would never use the term rape. As far as my camp, hip hop don’t condone that. The streets don’t condone that. Nobody condones that. Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross is in the news again after a paternity suit filed in Rozay’s home state of Florida alleges that the rapper is the father of a 3 year-old boy in Georgia. The Bawse quickly countered by saying he will take a DNA test to prove otherwise.

TMZ reports that 36-year old Tyrisha Childers filed the suit in the Florida Department of Revenue in Broward County recently, stating that Ross (born William Roberts) fathered a child with her and has yet to provide any child support for her son. Rozay filed a response shortly after, stating that he has never slept with Childers nor got her pregnant. Ross has offered to take a DNA test to prove he is free of any culpability. TMZ further reported that Childers’ financial state is dismal, claiming to only rake in $694 dollars per month in disability payments for an undisclosed reason. Allegedly Childers is flat broke and has no savings in her bank account.

Ross or Childers have not spoken publicly of the matter as of yet. Someone call Maury.

The 54-year-old star - who was named the top earner in pop music in 2012 - was previously estimated to have a personal fortune of around $700m but has now earned more than a billion dollars from her successful career in showbiz after investing in several additional money making ventures recently.

Justin slams 'lies' over battery claim

Los Angeles - Justin Bieber has claimed his neighbour is lying over claims he threatened to kill him.

The Beauty and a Beat singer is being investigated for battery following a heated verbal argument with a local resident at his Calabasas, California, home on Tuesday, which is thought to have stemmed from his "reckless" driving, but the pop star - who allegedly spat at the unidentified man and threatened to kill him - has insisted the confrontation never became physical.

A source close to the 19-year-old musician told TMZ that while Justin doesn't deny there was an incident at his home on Tuesday morning, "no spit ever left his mouth" and he never made threats of violence towards the man.

The 47-year-old neighbour told police officials investigating the complaint that he confronted Justin at his home about his "unbelievably reckless" driving in the local area, which he claims could have put pets and children in danger, but the star lashed out.

Photos up for sale

Justin reportedly shouted, "Get the fuck out of here", before spitting in his face and then said: "I'm gonna fucking kill you."

Meanwhile, representatives from Justin's side claims the man was trespassing on his property during the incident.

It has also emerged that another local - who is said to be "extremely close" to the neighbour - reportedly told fellow residents that she planned to sell pictures of Justin and sell stories about the singer just weeks before the confrontation.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "This neighbour told people that Justin moving into the neighbourhood was a chance to make money by selling photos of him and that got back to Justin, who put in hedges to block the view.

"The neighbour also said money could be made by selling information and that the neighbour already had a direct pipeline to several media outlets."

Kim books entire hospital floor for birth

Los Angeles - Kim Kardashian will take over an entire hospital floor for her birth.

The 32-year-old reality star is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West in July and she wants her baby's first moments to be "idyllic", so she has booked a whole floor to herself at her chosen facility for when she goes into labour.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Kim's taking the preparations for childbirth very seriously. She wants everything to be perfect and, luckily for her, money is no object.

"Kim's been reading about how monumental the first few moments of a baby's life are and wants her child's entry to the world to be idyllic. They've booked an entire floor at their chosen hospital and her room will be totally sound-proofed before the delivery."

Complete privacy

The raven-haired beauty will also create a relaxing ambience with blue, green and purple lighting, in addition to calming music, to help keep her calm.

"She wants all outside influences and noise of traffic muted," the source added.

"Kim's read that mood lighting and atmosphere are important, so she plans to reflect the sounds of nature with a trickling water and soothing wind CD."

When I first met my husband, Guy, 13 years ago, I was happy in all my dewy-eyed glory to let him see me make-up free.
Now, on the threshold of 40, I’ve had to revise my views. Time has taken its toll and my skin no longer has a smooth, even tone and my lips have lost volume and colour. 
Even my eyes seem to have shrunk. I still don’t wear lashings of make-up but am loath to face my beloved without a good smearing of foundation and bronzer.

I pondered this as I was reading a survey recently which revealed that a third of women actually get out of bed early so they can apply make-up before their other halves wake up. Because, while most men might insist they prefer a bare-faced beauty, every woman knows most have their heads turned by a pair of full lips, smothered in red lip gloss.

So I decided to conduct an experiment: I would get a professional make-up artist to give me six different make-up looks — from bare-faced to midnight vamp — to see which one Guy liked the best, and would his favourite be my favourite?

AU NATUREL

Annabel’s verdict: This is the face my husband gazes at across the pillow every morning. No wonder he leaps out of bed so quickly! Only he and our two children — William, ten, and Alice, eight — get to see me like this. 
With no warpaint around my eyes or mouth there is nothing to detract attention from my crows’ feet, frown lines, shiny nose and pale skin.

at 39, it’s hardly surprising I look a little lived in, but it seems unfair that despite enjoying a wholesome existence of home-baking and dog-walking, I have racked up more wrinkles than Kate Moss, who’s spent the last two decades partying. This look makes me feel naked and vulnerable. I would never go to work like this and if I were in a new relationship, I would wake at dawn to stop my new beau bolting for the door. With Guy, I can only hope that love is blind, or at least a little short-sighted.

Guy’s verdict: This is the face I know and love. Annabel always moans about her ‘bad’ skin but I can’t see anything wrong with it, and as for wrinkles, well, I don’t notice them, except when she’s really tired. Frankly, I don’t think Annabel really needs much make-up, as she’s a natural beauty.

Sex appeal rating: 3/5
'NO MAKE-UP' MAKE-UP

Annabel’s verdict: That’s better! I do love myself with a bit of colour. Here, thanks to a dab of tinted moisturiser, some cream blush on my cheeks, one coat of mascara and some Vaseline on my lips, I look brighter and altogether less like an exhumed corpse. This is the look I aim for on the school run in the morning — presentable but not trying too hard.
It would work well for the office or lunch with the girls. My mouth is quite small, so a bit of shine makes it appear fuller, while the blusher gives my face some definition, accentuating my cheekbones. 

Mascara opens up my eyes, making them look bigger. All this and it only took five minutes. I feel infinitely more confident and there’s a definite spring in my step that wasn’t there with the 'naked' look. The only time I can manage without make-up altogether is when I have a tan.

Guy’s verdict: This is very clever, because to an untrained male eye, it really does look as though Annabel’s wearing no make-up at all. But when you compare it to the bare face, you can see a marked difference. She looks a little more polished and brighter than when she’s just woken up. As everyday looks go, this is pretty good. Nice but natural. 

Sex appeal rating: 3/5

UNDERSTATED GLAM

Annabel’s verdict: This look takes much longer to create. Bronzing powder is added on top of the tinted moisturiser, with extra shading on the cheekbones. Then a thick, dark line of eyeliner goes on, ending in a ‘cat-flick’ drawn out at the edges.

The eyeliner requires a steady hand, but it’s not half as tricky as glueing on false eyelashes. It all takes a good 20 minutes. I’m not sure I’ve got the patience or skill to do this myself. We were aiming for the Brigitte Bardot look, but the cat-flick gets lost in my crows’ feet, and actually makes my eyes look more deep-set than they are. It’s definitely more glamorous than the barely-there look, but I don’t feel particularly confident because I don’t think it suits me. 

It would look sultry on Angelina Jolie, but on me it’s less sex kitten, more knackered housewife.

Guy’s verdict: I really like this. The false eyelashes don’t seem contrived or tarty, and I like the subtle colour of the lipstick.

I’d love it if Annabel dolled up like this for an evening out. She normally goes for a more low-key look, often putting on her make-up in the car. I guess it might be tricky to achieve this look in the rear-view mirror.

Sex appeal rating: 4/5
GETTING SULTRY

Annabel’s verdict: The make-up artist has stepped up the eye make-up by several gears here, following celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Cheryl Cole. She has added dark eyeliner to the bottom and the top of my eyes, and not one but two sets of false eyelashes.

Adding light bronzing powder under the eyes and the bridge of the nose illuminates the centre of my face, and bronze highlights on my cheekbones give my face more definition.

I’d always thought heavy eye make-up was too harsh and ageing, fearing that the result would be more Alice Cooper and less Liz Hurley. But the opposite is true. This is a look I would re-create for a very cool party. It makes me feel fun and glamorous, like I could dance on tables.

It’s taken half an hour and about ten products to achieve this look. Suddenly I have newfound respect for the likes of the Kardashians who manage this on a daily basis. Clearly I need to get my act together. It would be worth the effort.

Guy's verdict: This is good. Very good. I think Annabel looks great in a dolly-bird Sixties way. The bronzer adds a sun-kissed glamour, while those dark eyes with the thick, heavy lashes are incredibly sultry. Frankly, I feel weak at the knees. I think it brings out her fun, party-girl side. It’s definitely my favourite. 
Sex appeal rating: 5/5

RED CARPET DAZZLE

Annabel’s verdict: As every Hollywood star knows, the red-carpet look is not complete without scarlet lips.

This time, we have toned down the eye-make-up, with just mascara, eyeliner and a shimmer of gold and bronze eye shadow. My complexion is kept simple with just tinted moisturiser, not much blusher, and a slash of scarlet on my lips.

Again, it’s not an easy look to achieve: the eye shadow is carefully applied and blended, the mascara and eyeliner require surgical skill. The lipstick needs several coats. It all takes about 25 minutes.

Red lips are supposed to make you look more youthful — but they don’t. The pillar-box red lipstick is too startling. The overall effect is scary headmistress, not Hollywood glamourpuss. It’s a take-no-prisoners type of face, bold and a little bit intimidating. As it is, I’m worried I might frighten the dog.

Guy’s verdict: I do like this, although not as much as the celebrity look. It’s so far removed from the normal Annabel that it would take a bit of getting used to.

I’ve always been a fan of red lipstick, but now I can see it does make her mouth seem thinner. She looks rather bossy. Sex appeal rating 4/5

FULL ON VAMP

Annabel’s verdict: This time we have gone for a darker shade of red lipstick. The look is old-school femme fatale. The eye make-up is subtle with smoky grey eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara, the foundation neutral.

Again it takes time and patience — about 15 minutes. If you’re going for a bold shade of lipstick you’ve got to do it well — if you go over the natural lip line, the look becomes less sultry siren, more crazy old lady.

The dark lipstick seems to match my hair better and somehow makes my mouth seem fuller. It’s the kind of lipstick that demands to be kissed off.

It’s amazing how make-up can transform not just your face but your whole sense of self. I feel as if I belong in fancy restaurants and swanky shops.

If I was feeling bold and romantic, I might wear this out to dinner with my husband. However, it is so far removed from my normal appearance that I’m not sure I could pull it off.

I prefer the looks that accentuate my eyes rather than my mouth. The vivid lipsticks make my jaw appear heavier.

Guy’s verdict: I’m not sure this suits Annabel. I like the eyes, but the mouth is a bit dramatic. While the more understated looks suit her personality — natural but fun — this is over-the-top and she just looks slightly uncomfortable.

Sex appeal rating: 1/5

Man sets up sister to be raped over inheritance

Officials of the Ogun state Police Command, on Monday said it had arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly masterminding the rape of his two sisters in Ijebu-Ososa area of the state.

Speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital, the Command’s Spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the suspect was arrested with two other persons.
“The two other persons arrested with the 40-year-old man were those who eventually raped and robbed the two sisters aged 16 and 18.

“He gave the two suspects N80,000 to harass, molest and threaten his two younger sisters who had disagreed with him over the sharing formula of their late parents’ inheritance.

“You can speak with him as he had already confessed to the crime; so it’s a very straight forward case and we are charging three of them to court tomorrow,” he said.
The arrested victims’ brother reaffirmed while speaking to newsmen that it was true he hired two persons to threaten his two sisters over their parents’ inheritance.

He said, “I just asked them (the two other suspects) to threaten my sisters so that they can leave the property to me; I never paid them to rape my sisters as they had done.”

Annie & 2face?s Love Story ? How They Met At Age 15

A true love story, after all the ups and downs, the break- ups, cheating and all, they still ended up as ONE!

How They Met

Annie first met 2face Idibia at Even Ezra Music Studio when she was just fifteen and in her words, “I think there was some electricity that second”.

They were friends first but had started dating officially by the time they shot the “African Queen” video in 2004. That was when 2Face announced that they were together during an interview.

According to Annie, “I remember my 16th birthday at Alpha Beach, with me and my friends. When we were going home, we all walked to the bus stop with him and his cousin. Plantashun Boiz had just recorded “Knock Me Off” at the time so he wasn’t a star yet.

So we got into the bus, he sat in front with his cousin so when we wanted to pay the conductor, he said, “no, he done pay already” I was feeling like a babe. “Hey! My boyfriend paid everybody’s bus fare.” And that time, bus was like N2.50k or N3 per person for about 14 people. But he told me recently that he didn’t eat that night because he paid for everyone.”

Breakup

Soon Annie’s entertainment career became a lot more difficult as a result of being known as ’2Face’s girl’ and then they had their first breakup, came back, broke up again.

She was hurt when word got out that, in quick succession, 2Face had gotten two different women pregnant – Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala. At that point, the couple broke up.

When Pero and Sumbo yet again got pregnant for 2Face once again, that was when 2Face and Annie had their longest break-up which lasted almost a year and a half. But as they say, love will always find a way, they made up again and Annie gave birth to 2Face’s fifth child Isabel and then in 2012, Pero gave birth to his sixth child in the US. Well, Pero couldn’t even prevent them from being together.

Proposal

In 2012, 2Face proposed to Annie on Valentine’s Day at Jay Jay Okocha’s Club 10 in Victoria Island, Lagos. And, they weren’t even dating then, although were still on talking terms after he had called her out of the blue a few weeks before, visited her at home and asked for her forgiveness and friendship.

According TO eye-witness reports, 2Face took Annie to a quiet section of the club, he knelt down and told her “I KNOW WE have had OUR ups and downs but it will be MY heart’s desire for YOU to marry ME” and then presented the dazzling ring and Annie began screaming “YES, YES, YES” after crying her eyes out!

Secret Union

Shortly after 2Face‘s concert when he brought out then-fiancee, Annie during his performance of“African Queen”, the two secretly legalized their union in a Lagos registry on Tuesday, May 1 2012.

They later went ahead with a traditional wedding on Friday 8th March 2013 in Akwa Ibom followed by big wedding parties before & after. The white wedding will be taking place in Dubai today Saturday 23 March 2013.

What Happened At Tuface & Annie's Tradituional Wedding

It’s a little over a year after African pop singer 2face Idibia romantically proposed to longtime girlfriend and baby mama Annie Macaulay and less than a year, since they secretly got married.

No more surprises though – the couple who announced they will be throwing a big wedding this March lived up to their word by travelling all the way to Akwa Ibom for their traditional wedding.

Little Eket Community in Akwa-Ibom received a host of celebrities last weekend as the love birds 2face and Annie had their star-studded traditional wedding. Celebs guests included best buddy Sound Sultan, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw and Ini Edo, HipHopWorld Magazine boss Ayo Animashaun, Now Muzik’s Efe Omorogbe and Tony Anifite, Timaya, Iyanya and more.

Most guests stayed at the Villa Marina hotel, especially those who arrived the night before. The pre-wedding bash also held a night to the wedding, and all that we are told was sponsored by the governor of Akwa Ibom state Godswill Akpabio.

Final preparations are being made for the grand white wedding taking place in Dubai, later this month.

2face’s former band mates Blackface and Faze were surprisingly missing from the pop singer’s Traditional wedding with his bride Annie. Despite going their solo ways in 2004, 2face has remained good friends with them and featured them in his 2012 album concert.

2face ditched his conventional jeans and shirt for a more cultural look at the wedding. The pop icon was spotted wearing a white long sleeve linen shirt over a brown wrapper. He accessorized with locally made beads as his necklace and hand chain. He even took it a step further by customizing his brown cap with the inscription ’2 Baba’ written on both sides.

Scramble for IVs

There was a last minute rush for invitation cards as the buzz grew bigger when the official IV and pre-wedding photos hit the web.

Inside Annie’s village

The Macaulays’ hometown Eket came alive as the celebrity couple – their daughter Annie and groom 2face arrived for one of the biggest wedding ceremonies there in the last decade. Eket is situated 52KM away from the State’s capital Uyo and takes an average drive of 54 minutes to get there. The wedding took place at the Apostolic High School, Esit Urua Community, Eket-Ibeno Road.

Best Man – Sound Sultan

2face’s ever cheerful ‘best-friend’ and music collaborator Sound Sultan played the important role of Best Man at the wedding. It would have been surprising if he had chosen another friend.

Iyanya the saviour

Iyanya turned out to be the saviour of the day; it was the ‘Kukere’ pop singer that flew in from Lagos to Eket with 2face’s wedding outfit. Apparently, the tailor had been running late with the sewing and quickly handed it to Iyanya to drop it off. Crisis averted.

Why the event started five hours late

Nigerian events rarely start early and this one was no exception. All the guests had arrived early enough to see the bride and groom in all their glory but had to wait five long hours before the ceremony kicked off. Apparently 2face’s wedding outfit had not been ready all this while until the last minute.

The pre wedding party

No bachelors’ party for 2face! Everybody including the bride partied hard at a local night club in Uyo. The gig was sponsored by the state governor who also hosted guests to a post-wedding dinner at his official residence, Saturday night.

Goodswill Akpabio’s role

The Akwa Ibom State governor reportedly announced he would be donating two brand new Toyota Prado SUVs. He promised to send a 29-man delegation to Dubai whose trip will be sponsored by the State. He also promised to rehabilitate the Eket-Ibeno road before the next child dedication ceremony of the couple.

Pero Adeniyi flies in

There was a bit of tension when the couple and family heard the news of 2face’s baby mama/Off-on lover Pero Adeniyi (who is now based in the US with her three kids) flying back into Nigeria this Idibia wedding season. Pure coincidence? (She didn’t make it to Eket, BTW).
