PDP Main Problems Just Starting, Says Atiku; Backs Obasanjo

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that the real troubles of the PDP is just about to start and that the party's new chairman, Adamu Muazu, whose daughter is married to his son, cannot save PDP.

“I don’t think the end of PDP’s trouble is over with Bamanga Tukur’s ousted. I don’t think so; the troubles of the PDP are yet to come. I don’t think Bamanga is the trouble, I don’t think Bamanga is the issue.”On why he is in agreement with ex-President Obasanjo over President Jonathan, Atiku said:

“We don’t consult with Obasanjo, but the striking thing I want you to reflect upon is, read my convention address, read President Obasanjo’s letter. In fact there are very striking similarities, the only thing is that I foresaw what is happening before him, that is just the difference but basically my convention speech and the letter Obasanjo wrote to President Jonathan have very striking similarity.”
Atiku stated this in an interview with a radio station, Liberty Radio. He said he is in agreement with Obasanjo who recently in an open letter to President Goodluck Jonathan, attacked the latter’s failures in managing the affairs of the country, and for allowing his tribal Ijaw sentiment into governance.

Asked whether the PDP that has vowed to rule Nigeria for 60 years now have their days numbered, the angry Atiku answered in the affirmative: “Definitely!”

On the difference between PDP and APC, Atiku explained, “The PDP represents the conservative wing of the electoral divide, the APC represents the social democratic [wing] of our political divide.”

Read Governor Kwankwaso's Exposé On Jonathan's 2015 Script

The ever outspoken governor of Kano State Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has opened up on the 2015 timetable for elections as released by INEC. He said putting presidential election first shows there is a secret agenda.

Below are the words of Governor Kwankwaso:

“You see, the bandwagon is not the only issue; the REAL issue is that they want to intimidate people; if you don’t vote for me, I will do this, I will do that. That is what they want to do; we all know the tricks; we have been in the game long before many of them. They want to use intimidation.

“I think it is one of the things that we know. We know the President has been praying to have his election first. He tried that during the last election in 2011 and the National Assembly refused to allow his election to come first; they put it second. The order in 2011 was National Assembly first, presidential, governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

“Now, I don’t know how they influenced INEC to put his election and National Assembly election first and then two weeks after, they do House of Assembly and governorship elections. The presidential election should come last. That has been the correct thing; you deal from the bottom; you don’t start from the air.

“But if you have structure on the ground, at least you have structure. And the way they are going about it, especially going by the utterances of those that are always visiting their dining tables and sitting rooms, I think there may be some agenda.

“If you hear what many people from their side are talking about, it is like they are threatening everybody. And with that, they want to go to the presidential election first, I think that is a big mistake. I think that should be reversed. The National Assembly must look at that.

“You don’t just sit down and put their election because that is what they want. What criteria did they use? How and why are you starting with the presidential election? I think that is giving a lot of concerns about the activities of INEC. People are really concerned and I think INEC people should be concerned also. It is very easy here in Abuja to sit down and take decision and whether you like it or not, you have to take it.

“I don’t think anybody on that side is really serious and believing that they will win elections under free and fair atmosphere. I think it is about INEC, it is about security agencies, intimidation; it is about money.”

Kwankwaso called on the National Assembly to intervene and make sure things happen the normal way!

MKO Abiola's Wife Declares For Governorship In Lagos

The race for who should replace Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State come 2015 is about to get very interesting as Mrs Dupe Onitiri-Abiola, one of the wives of late Chief MKO Abiola, has announced her bid to contest the governorship seat in Lagos State in the next general elections.

Mrs Onitiri-Abiola while making her governorship ambition known, says she now has "all the formula to solve unemployment, electricity and education problems plaguing Lagos state".

The woman who appears to be serious with her move, has not revealed the political party she would contest on. She is still studying the existing parties and would make her choice known by February 2014.

Will Lagosians vote for Onitiri-Abiola? I guess only time will tell.

Anti-Gay Law Update: TB Joshua Delivers A Gay Man in Church

Add caption
In the wake of Nigeria’s anti-gay bill signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan, a popular televangelist Prophet T.B. Joshua, addressed the issue of homosexuality during a live broadcast of his Sunday Service on his Emmanuel TV. A young man by the name of Tedus visited T.B. Joshua’s church and was delivered from a ‘demon’ which he claimed was the cause of his homosexual lifestyle.

While addressed the issue, T.B. Joshua said:

"God loves sinners but hates sin. We should hate the act but not the people - because sinners can be delivered and changed. Sinners can be reformed since our battle is not against the flesh and blood but against the spirit beings that cause these acts."

He used the Bible scriptures Romans 5:8, Jude 1:23 and Ephesians 6:12 to support his teaching.

During the live broadcast Mr Tedus, who said he had been a homosexual, was asked series of questions and shared his experiences which were posted on the ministry’s Facebook page in a post titled, “Deliverance is the Answer”.

He said that he remembered a time he felt a spirit enter him and after that, he began to feel affection for men. That was how his journey as a homosexual started. He said that after his deliverance at the church his desires have changed and he no longer has passion for men but rather for women.

Reacting, Prophet T.B. Joshua said:
“If we fail to see that there are powers that cause people to be bowed down in bondage, we are fighting the wrong battle. That is why so many churches today are fighting the wrong battle. When you are armed for battle, you will not fight the wrong battle; you will listen to the inner voice of the Holy Spirit. The issue of faith is not an issue of man’s flesh. It is of man’s spirit, not man’s flesh”.

Tedus gave advice saying, “If you come across someone with the same problem, you should not condemn. The only answer is deliverance.”

“12 Excuses Men Give For Not Using Condoms”

Dr. Gilbert Majekodunmi, a Psychologist and a Laboratory Scientist at St. Leo Hospital, Lagos, pointed out recently that Nigerian men don’t like using condoms.

According to him, saying Nigerian men like condom is an oxymoron because on the list of things Nigerian men like, putting on a condom falls somewhere near going shopping and changing diapers.

“But women are not very different either, I am sure you have heard that rural-like argument that sex with a condom is like eating sweets without removing the cover”, he said, adding that there are common excuses men give not to use condoms.

IT RUINS THE MOMENT

According to him, the following are the excuses men, especially Nigerian men give for not using condoms; they say, wearing condoms during sex ruins the moment.

“There are some people who feel as if the moment had been spoiled just because he needs to put on his condoms first before proceeding.

According to them, diverting attention during sexual intercourse is a huge turn-off and very undersirable”, he said. He added that; “putting on condoms during the course of sexual activity already spoils the act since it contributes to cases of acquiring STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

“There’s the thing called pre-ejaculation before the climax. It basically puts both of you in danger. Rather than complaining on ruining the moment, why not put it on even before the sexual activity. Also, get use to putting on a condom and thinking about sex while you are doing it. This way, you will stay aroused and it will become part of sex, not an interruption”.

‘I LIKE IT NATURAL’

Sex with a condom can make you feel natural but many Nigerian men like flesh to flesh sex. Having sex without a condom may seem natural but it puts you and your partner(s) at risk of erection. Some men find that using a condom can make their erections last longer, you can try the new superfine condoms.

‘I LOSE SENSITIVITY” OR THE PRESENCE OF CONDOMS AFFECTS SEXUAL SENSATION’

One of the reasons why Nigerian men don’t like to wear condom is because it decreases sexual pleasure. For them, sensitivity is reduced which can definitely affect their performance.

‘IT AFFECTS MY PERFORMANCE’

Some people find it hard to keep an erection with a condom on. This is often because the first time they try to use a condom is when they are just about to have sex. They find that their erection starts to go, they get worried about it, then lose their erection and associate it with the condom. People can also feel anxious about what their partner might think.

‘I DON’T LIKE THEM’

Some people don’t like condoms because they have had a bad experience with them in the past. There are plenty of brands that offer a variety of condoms to suit your needs. There are textured, flavoured, and coloured condoms, condoms that make you and your partner tingle or feel hot, make you look bigger or help you stay erect longer and all these condoms protect you from STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

‘MEN DON’T WEAR CONDOMS BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO PUT ON’

Most Nigerian men don’t like to wear condoms because it gives them a hard time putting it on. This includes wearing it the other way around or unrolling it improperly which leads to breakage. If it’s your first time to wear condoms, then this is understandable. But if you have had sex for quite some time now, then this is a lame excuse for you not to wear condoms. First-time condom users may experience difficulty and the answer to this is practise.

You can practice doing this when you are alone and when you get it right, then there’s no excuse for you not to wear one in your next encounter.

‘WEARING CONDOMS MAKES ME FEEL BORED DURING SEXUAL INTERACTION’

Another lame excuse that Nigerian men give so as not to wear condoms is that it makes them feel bored. Since there is decreased sensation brought about by the rubber, men tend to get bored when having sex and may not get satisfied with the activity. They also believe that the use of condoms also contributes to dryness making the activity less satisfactory.
