The dissolution of the marriage between Christ Embassy Church founder, Pastor Christian Oyakhilome, and his wife, Rev. Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome, has entered the final phase, TheCable can report. The wife is seeking divorce on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery”. She outlined several allegations against the pastor which TheCable cannot publish for legal reasons.

A Night of Tribute took place yesterday evening at the International Conference Center Abuja in honor of Prof Dora Akunyili who died on June 7th in India after a battle with cancer. Dignitaries included former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (rtd), Former Education Minister Dr Oby Ezekwesili, Onyeka Onwenu, Minister of Power Chukwu Nebo, Senator Chris Ngige amongst others.
Pastor Lesego Daniel of the Rabboni Centre Ministries, South Africa made headlines early this year when he made his church members eat grass (See that here), claiming that eating grass will bring them closer to God. The backlash he got from that stunt obviously didn't affect him because he's still treating his members like animals.

The woman's name is Roseline Uzoamaka and she has been arrested. She was arrested on Sunday night by the police at Kubwa police station who then transferred the case to the Dutsen Alhaji Police Division of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Abuja.
The girl is 14 years old according to sources and her name is Sarah. She's currently recuperating at the hospital. Quite a lot of NGOs have gotten involved and one in particular is planning to take Mrs Uzoamaka to court for child brutality. Sarah is said to be related to the woman's husband and was brought to Abuja to help the family domestically.
